YMS: Yard Management System
Vehicular Traffic automation software (YMS: Yard Management System), allows to manage the entrances, exits and transit of vehicles within a venue (distribution centers, plants, ports and others), optimizing the flow and controlling the times of operation on each node and the Inter-node circulation, integrated with RFID technology.
It allows to automate vehicular traffic within the zones such as:
Distribution centers in order to control and measure logistical operations.
Industrial plants in order to validate and control the flow of vehicles and people.
Logistical parks, in order to control entrance, exit and access to permitted zones.
Ports in order to make access, traffic and truck operations more fluid.
Large parking spaces.
Entrance and Exit Control
By means of a Software and a RFID Tag assigned to each vehicle, entrance and exit control is performed using automatic barriers, traffic lights and gates. Each vehicle has an activity Workflow according to the appointed load.
Flexibility to adapt to new requirements :
It is flexible enough to be configured according to any tracking operative needs, not only for vehicles in distribution centers but also to vehicles, people and goods movement by using a RFID tag and a Middleware, which enables hardware management from Software.
RFID Control
Each vehicle is controlled by a RFID Tag, which will keep record of the vehicle activity within the company’s premises, including the time it stops, the validation of its routing area and the operation of the devices (barriers, traffic lights, gates, illuminated signs, sensors, video cameras, etc). Courier Management performed by SMS, emails, beepers o mobile phones, in order to give directions to carriers. Complete Traceability and Activities Statistics. GPS integration
Adjustable Layout Design:
It is a dynamic way of defining orders’ nodes (Docks, Entrance, Exit, Scales, Parkings) and the devices linked to them (Barriers, Traffic lights, Illuminated signs, Sensors, Video cameras, Gates, etc) in order to operate them with the software.
